Course Overview

This qualification provides a pathway to work in any hospitality industry sector as a departmental or small business manager across restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops.

This qualification allows for multi-skilling and targeted skills in accommodation services, cookery, food and beverage and gaming.

Delivery & Assessment

  • Blended delivery supported by the learning management system (Moodle).
  • Assessment may include observation, projects, reports, case studies, role plays, activities, written and oral tasks, questions and presentations.

Entry Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have completed an overseas equivalent of Year 12.
  • IELTS score of 6.0 total or above with no band lower than 6.0, or accepted equivalent.
  • Mature age students may be considered with relevant work experience and demonstrated capacity to meet course requirements.
